Internet Banking Disclosure
To apply for Internet Banking, please read this disclosure and
follow the link at the bottom to print out the enrollment
form. Please fill out the form and
bring it into the
credit union.
The Internet Banking service allows you to do routine banking
transactions such as withdrawals and transfers and to view your
account status by computer. All transaction are in REAL TIME.
What should I know about the Internet Banking Service?
You consent to the terms of this Agreement each time you use
this service.
Each person who signs the Internet Banking application agrees to be
bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If more than
one person signs the application and enters their PIN, all signers
are jointly and severally liable.
You must tell us IMMEDIATELY if you believe your PIN has been lost
or stolen.
You will receive a monthly statement for each month there were
transactions or activity on your account.
If your statement shows transactions that you did not make, you must
inform us immediately. If you do not tell us within 60 days after
the statement was mailed to you, you may not get back any monies you
lost. If you have authorized someone else to use your PIN, you are
responsible for all transactions that person(s) initiates at any
time, even if the amount of/or transactions exceed what you may have
authorized.
What services are available online?
You may obtain information on all your accounts such as
savings and checking balances, loan balances on active accounts,
draft clearing information and dividends on share accounts. You may
transfer funds between your accounts or to other cross referenced
accounts, from savings to checking, checking to savings or make loan
payments.
How do I get started?
You may submit an Internet Banking Application once you
agree to this disclosure. Once you have signed an Internet
Banking application the Credit Union will assign you a PIN number.
The first time you access the system you will need your full account
number and you will be instructed to change your PIN. Once your PIN
has been changed we DO NOT keep a record of your new PIN. If you
forget your PIN, call MCU during our regular business hours and we
will issue you a new one.
Are there any limitations?
Fund transfers and withdrawals are subject to the terms and
limitations of the specific accounts and funds availability. All
transactions are done in real time.
Are there any transaction fees?
At this time there are no transaction fees associated with Internet
Banking. In the event that MCU feels the need to access fees in the
future we will provide advance notification.
What should I do in case of errors?
You must telephone us as soon as you can if you believe that your
statement or a receipt is wrong. We must hear from you no later than
60 days after we sent the first statement on which the error
appeared.
Municipal Credit Union may change the terms of
this Agreement by mailing or delivering a written notice or amended
Agreement to your address of record.
We may immediately terminate this Agreement
and your use of Internet Banking if:

You or any authorized user of your account
breaches this or any other agreement with the Municipal Credit
Union
-
We have reason to believe that there has been
unauthorized use of your access code
-
There are conflicting claims to the funds
-
You or any other authorized user of your
account has requested that we do so
If any portion of this Agreement should be held
to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this Agreement
shall remain in full force and effect.
Privacy & Security
Municipal Credit Union respects your privacy.
When visiting our website, you may be providing
information to Municipal Credit union on two different levels:
anonymous statistics collected as you browse the site and personal
information you knowingly give us.
Municipal Credit Union would like to assure you
that we DO NOT:
